Who We Are
The Threaded Bobbin is a labor of love born from a shared passion for creativity and craftsmanship. Jennifer, the avid quilter in our family, has spent years immersed in the art of piecing together beautiful quilts that tell stories and create lasting memories. John, the technical genius, is our expert Longarmer, turning Jennifer’s (and soon, your) creations into finished masterpieces with precision and care.
Our mission is simple: to bring you beautiful keepsake box kits and premium quilting products from the industry’s top designers, while offering longarm quilting services that transform your quilt tops into heirlooms. We are also excited to offer precuts for some of the most popular fabric collections, giving you even more options to bring your creative visions to life.

Fun Facts About Us

Jennifer and John walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2022, taking the breathtaking Coastal Route. This year, in 2025, we’re embarking on another adventure, walking the Camino from the France side over the Pyrenees Mountains. Our goal is to walk 200 miles, traversing mountains and exploring beautiful villages in Spain along the way.

Quilting has been a source of great mental health for Jennifer, providing a creative outlet and keeping her hands busy. It’s one of the reasons she has been able to lose over 70 pounds since 2022 and stay on track. Quilting keeps her hands out of the cookie jar and her mind focused on creating something beautiful and meaningful.

Our home-based quilting studio is a dream come true, allowing us to combine our love for family, quilting, and entrepreneurship.
