Joanna Figueroa, the creative force behind Fig Tree & Co., has been passionate about art and design since childhood. Growing up in an immigrant family, she inherited a love for entrepreneurship from her father, whose legacy lives on in every part of Fig Tree.

Inspired by color and vintage aesthetics, Joanna's fabric and quilt designs are influenced by antique textiles, flea market finds, and nature’s ever-changing palette. She describes herself as a "hybrid" fabric designer, blending painting, vintage fabric swatches, and digital art to create timeless collections.

Beyond design, Joanna and her husband, Eric, are embracing a new adventure as empty nesters, balancing their creative journey with renovating a farm in Petaluma, California, where they plan to host workshops and special events. She also fosters a vibrant quilting community through Block-of-the-Month programs and Sew Alongs, bringing quilters together to share their passion.
